Bo Rangers Football Club has announced the appointment of Joe Thomas as its new Executive Chairman, following the voluntary resignation of Babadi Kamara.

Babadi Kamara stepped down from the executive chairman role in order to focus on his duties as President of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA).

The club’s Board of Directors declared that Joe Thomas’s appointment is effective immediately.

Before this promotion, Thomas served as Director of Corporate Affairs at Bo Rangers. In that capacity, he built a reputation for governance discipline, professionalism, and enhancing the club’s corporate structure.

The Board praised his commitment and contributions, noting his alignment with the club’s ambition for stability, performance, and sustainable growth.

As Executive Chairman, Thomas will oversee Bo Rangers’ strategic direction, governance, and operational management. He is expected to work closely with the board and management team to steer the club toward greater accountability, strong financial control, and improved performance both on and off the pitch.

Supporters and stakeholders are hopeful that under his leadership, Bo Rangers will consolidate recent gains and more consistently challenge for honours in domestic competitions, while also improving their standing in regional and continental football.
