Former SLFA President and FIFA Council Member, Isha Tejan-Cole Johansen has today, 3rd August 2023 celebrated 90th Birthday of her Father Mr. Tejan-Cole.

Muslims Clerics offer prayers for Mr Tejan-Cole at his residence for the significant milestone he has achieved.

“The Fourabay Community celebrates the 90th birthday of one of the country’s most revered citizen, Mr M.R. Tejan-Cole aka Pa Tejan-Cole” Johansen states,” the notice reads.

Isha Johansen was born as Isha Tejan-Cole in Freetown, Sierra Leone, into the Tejan-Cole family, who are of Aku or Creole descent. She was immersed in football from the very beginning, as her father co-founded East End Lions F.C. in Freetown. Her father took her to see football matches, and she played football with her brothers and their friends.

Johansen is one of only a few women in the world to have headed a national football association.
