Three coaches from Kamboi Eagles Football Club Eric Lungay, Ansumana Kallon, and Alfred Oga Pius — have successfully completed the CAF License D Diploma coaching course during a week-long program held in Kenema.
The course was organized by the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), under the leadership of President Babadi Kamara, in collaboration with the Eastern Region Football Association. Designed as a foundational grassroots coaching program, the CAF License D Diploma aims to strengthen football development and raise coaching standards across Sierra Leone.
Training was delivered by FIFA/CAF-certified educator Robert N. Lartey from Liberia. Supervision and technical oversight were provided by Aiah Debbie, SLFA Technical Director for the Eastern Region. The intensive seven-day program combined classroom theory with on-field practical sessions to enhance participants’ coaching knowledge and skills.
The course concluded with comprehensive theoretical and practical examinations to evaluate each participant’s understanding and coaching competence. Participants will receive their official CAF License D certificates upon successful completion of these assessments.
Kamboi Eagles FC congratulated Eric Lungay, Ansumana Kallon, and Alfred Oga Pius on achieving this important professional milestone. The club applauded their dedication to continuous development and expressed confidence that their new qualifications will strengthen coaching practices and promote grassroots football development in Sierra Leone.
