Former president  of Sierra Leone Ernest Bai Koroma  has hailed Leone Stars for holding the Elephant of Ivory Coast  in a a 2-2 draw in their group E African Cup of Nations Group Stage

Musa Noah Kamara and Alhaji Kamara scored two goals  as John Keister-led team held the Ivorians  to a draw at the Japoma  Stadium.

In a twitter Statement, President Koroma urged the Leone Stars  of his unflinching support as they continue  to soar at the African Cup of Nations  football Showpiece.

Former  President commends the Leone stars  of Sierra Leone  for an impressive stars at the ongoing 33rd  Africa Cup of Nations [AFCON] in Cameroon , holding a formidable  opponent  Ivory Coast 1-1, in their  group stage  encounter.

The former president twitted, “Extraordinary match and  consistent performance,  Great Spot kick goal keeper@Medok-4 Kamara, Superb goals@superkam1045Alhaji and  Musa Kamara. Congratulations, Sierra Leone is Proud of  you”.

Leone Stars will will face Equatorial Guinea  in their last group stage.
