Leone Stars first choice Goalkeeper Mohamed N Kamara has kicked-start pre-season training with his new side Horoya Athletic Club of Guinea.
The former East End Lions goalkeeper last month joined the Guinea club and started work with the league champions of Guinea Premier league. The player signed a two years contract with with the club on 2nd October 2022 with option to extend it if he wishes after the first deal.
The player bought his fame following his impressive performance at the African Cup of Nations competition in Cameroon notwithstanding that Leones Stars did not qualify the group stage.
During the teams match against Algeria, Mohamed Nbalie Kamara bagged ma of the match after making incredible saves in the pitch which resulted the game into a draw. After the tournament, the player has received different calls from agents trying to get his goalkeeping skills in their team.
“I can confirm that Orlando Pirates have shown interest in me,” Nbalie told Sierra Leone Football.com.
“I have been approached by different people, different agents and clubs from Saudi Arabia, Morocco and Algeria, Austria and Germany.”
On October 2nd 2022, the news of his transfer to Guinea Premier League Champions, Athletic Club surfaced the web. According to sources, the player is on a two years contract and an extension of years if he wishes after the contract deal.
Since Mohamed N Kamara officially unveiled to the fans, the player departed to Guinea six days ago to start the pre-season trainings ahead of the Premier League.
