Leone Rock Metal Group has reinforced its commitment to football development in Sierra Leone with the donation of seven changing boards and seven sets of referee communication gadgets for use across the country’s seven Premier League venues.
The presentation was made to the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) Vice President II, Prince Saquee, alongside North-West Region Chairman and Executive Committee member, Abdul Osman Turay (AOT).
Speaking during the ceremony, Leone Rock’s Senior Administrative Officer, Brima Turay, described the donation as a significant milestone in enhancing the quality of match officiating in the league. He explained that the initiative was conceived at the start of the season as part of broader efforts to support referees.

“This is the first time such equipment has been provided, and it is aimed at reducing officiating errors while improving the credibility of the league,” Turay stated.
In his response, SLFA Vice President II Prince Saquee emphasised the critical role of communication in modern football, noting that the newly donated gadgets will help address persistent challenges faced by match officials.
He expressed appreciation to Leone Rock on behalf of the SLFA President and the Executive Committee, describing the gesture as a meaningful contribution to the growth and professionalism of the game.
Prince Saquee further encouraged the company to sustain and expand its support in future seasons, highlighting that the current intervention represents a major boost to football development in Sierra Leone.
