The Leone Stars squad arrived in the United Arab Emirates on Monday 14th November 2022 and are hosted at the Concorde Five Stars Hotel and Resort in the city of Fujairah.

After undergoing tough trainings over these past days, the players are set to clash with the Algerian home-based side in a friendly encounter this Saturday, 19th November 2022. This outing is part of the country’s endless efforts in preparation for the Ivory Coast 2023 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers.

As the Jumah prayer is considered by Muslims around the globe as the Hajj/Pilgrim to Mecca for the poor, it is undoubtedly t true that it is one of the precious days of the week. Don’t get me wrong, all days of the week are important in the eyes of the creator but there are others that are considered more precious than the other to perform certain worships.

Ahead of their clash tomorrow, about eight of the players observed Jumah prayer at the Fujairah Mosque in United Arab Emirates (UAE) Dubai as it is their obligation to Allah.
