The Leone Stars of Sierra Leone have dropped five places in the latest FIFA world ranking.
According to the latest ranking published on FIFA’s website on Thursday, Leone Stars dropped from 122nd to 127th position.
The slump in the ranking is connected with the team’s disappointing showing in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Sierra Leone lost two goals to Egypt and held a goal draw with Ethiopia in its first World Cup Qualifier games.
