A five-day UEFA training Workshop for football administrators has commenced today, 27 March 2022 at the Atlantic Beach Lumley Hotel in Freetown.

Sierra Leone Joined other African countries reaping benefits from the Union of European Football Development Programme which was launched by (UEFA) Assist.

The program, which is one of the two transformative UEFA Assist projects recently secured by the Sierra Leone Football Association, targets club owners and management staff of the federation with a specific focus on developing the Sierra Leone Premier League.

The UEFA Assist has so far channeled support to more than 400 football development projects in close to 60 countries worldwide including 11 in Africa.

Apart from the premier league clubs’ managers, the UEFA workshop is also attended by management staff of the Association, amongst other local football stakeholders.
