The agent of Brøndby IF U19 goalkeeper Mamadou Wurie Jalloh has written to the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) regarding delays in clearing the player to switch nationality from Denmark to Sierra Leone.

Jalloh, who is eligible to represent Denmark, Sierra Leone, and Guinea, recently shared a video expressing his commitment to Sierra Leone.

His agent, Ibrahim, confirmed that after positive discussions with SLFA officials, they were eager for Jalloh to join the national team for the upcoming U20 AFCON and potentially train with the senior squad.

However, since their last meeting in January, they have been waiting for updates on the passport application process and travel arrangements.

“Since our last meeting in early January, we have been waiting for the next step, which includes sorting out the documentation for his passport application,” Jalloh’s agent shared.

Meanwhile, Denmark’s U19 national team has invited Jalloh to a two-day training camp, though it is not an official call-up.

Jalloh’s camp now awaits SLFA’s response to finalise his switch.
