Sierra Leonean Athletes are unable to make formidable gains as they fail to win any medal in the in the Just concluded 2022 Commonwealth games held in Birmingham.

This is Sierra Leone’s 13th appearance at the Commonwealth Games.

Dozens of Athletes from Sierra Leone arrived two weeks ago in Birmingham UK,
Where they have been competiton with top athletes from across the Commonwealth in field and track events.

Many were not expecting Sierra Leone’s Athletes to to set world records at these Commonwealth Games in Birmingham,but there was plenty of hope of at least winning one medal to take back hope to uplift the mood of the nation.

However, some athletes improved on their personal best while others blame the lacking better sporting facilities in the country.
