Popular Leone Stars China Based Striker Mohamed Buya Turay has expressed strong determination to make Sierra Leonean at The Africa Cup of Nations. He made this statement after today’s morning training session at the national Stadium.

Turay arrived recently   to join the squad at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Freetown. The team currently is embarking on physical and tactical training ahead of the AFCON Competition.

The Forward has shown high spirit and determination since he joined the Leone Stars camp in Freetown.

Meanwhile, a majority of the leone Stars squad are currently in camp and the delegation is expected to depart the shores of Freetown for Cameroon on Thursday 6th January 2022 with a chartered flight.

Head Coach John Kiester has recently cut down his provisional squad to the 28 players which left mixed reactions amongst members of the public.

Leone Stars will play against Algeria at the Japoma Stadium on 11th January 2022.
