Newly appointed Sierra Leone Head Coach, Mohamed Kallon has invited 25 home-based players ahead of a crucial World Qualifiers against West African neighbours, Guinea Bissau.
The 25 players will partake in a training session on Tuesday, February 18, at the SLFA Academy in Kingtom, Freetown at 7 in the morning.
A notice issued by the Sierra Leone FA indicated that all invited players are expected to report to the camp on or before the scheduled date.
The list of players includes some big names like Musa Noah Kamara (East End Lions), Nathaniel Jalloh (FC Kallon) and Suffian Kalokoh (Bo Rangers).
Sierra Leone will host Guinea-Bissau next month in the fifth fixture of the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers. This will be Mohamed Kallon’s first assignment since his appointment a few days ago.
The Leone Stars have played Guinea-Bissau five times winning once, recording teo draws and losing once. The Sierra Leone male National Team has never played in the World Cup finals but recent result against Burkina Faso has ignited hope among players and football fans in the West African nation.
I trust you Mr. Kallon, surely you will deliver.
