The Sierra Leone National U-17 team has safely touched down in Dakar, Senegal, ahead of their participation in the highly anticipated WAFU-A AFCON U-17 Qualifiers.
The squad, under the leadership of the North East Region Chairman, Brima Jalloh, is now comfortably settled at Hotel Big’ Faim, ready to embark on their journey to secure a spot in the prestigious tournament.
The delegation includes key figures from Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), including Mohamed S. Jalloh (Ex Officio) and SLFA Technical Director, Inspector Ibrahim Bah, as well as Abdul Karim Kabba, the Administrative Officer. These officials are set to play critical roles in the team’s preparations and overall strategy as they gear up for the competition.
Other key personnel, including Team Manager Salim Mutu, Youth Football Coordinator Alimamy Kuraish Conteh, and Assistant Coach Abdul Bangura, are expected to join the delegation in the coming days to provide further support to the squad.
The team will have their first training session today at a venue to be confirmed. This session will give the coaching staff a chance to assess the players’ readiness and make any necessary tactical adjustments ahead of their upcoming matches.
