In a remarkable display of talent and skill, 15-year-old Musa Bangura, an SS2 Commercial Pupil at St. Edward’s Secondary School has scored a vital that secured Victory for Old Edwardians against Lamboi FC at the Port Loko Town Field.
Musa’s decisive goal against Lamboi FC helped to secure three crucial points for the Edwardians. With this goal, he has now scored two goals in the ongoing season, solidifying his reputation as a promising young talent in the Country.
It could be recalled that Musa received a standing ovation from his peers on Monday, March 4, 2024. The applause followed Musa’s outstanding performance in the Leone Rock Premier League, where he earlier scored his first decisive goal against Diamond Stars in Kono.
The young athlete did not only leave his mark on the scoreboard but also clinched the well-deserved title of the Man of the Match, an achievement celebrated by both him and the team.
