‏The Parliament of Sierra Leone has applauded the National Team, Leone Stars over their victory with Benin which led them to qualify for the African Cup of Nations 2021.

They national team last qualified for AFCON over 25-years ago.

The Minister of Sports Ibrahim Nyelenke, the Executive Body of the Sierra Leone Football Association SLFA with their President Thomas Daddy Brima and some members of the National Team were all invited to the Well of Parliament on Thursday where they received accolades from Parliamentarians in recognition of the well fought victory.
