The Paramount Chief of Marampa Chiefdom in Lunsar Port Loko District PC Koblo Queen II has recently provided support of Ten Thousand Leones (NLe. 10,000) equivalent to Ten Million leones in the old notes to Bai Bureh Warriors Football Club one of the two teams representing the district in the country’s top-tier league.

He provided this support to Bai Bureh Warriors FC when a cross-section of the executive of the club led by Chairman Santigie Ibrahim Kamara paid him a courtesy visit at his residence in Lunsar, which is also part of their strategic movement in soliciting the support of stakeholders in the district to help address the financial crisis the club has been facing, while the meeting was chaired by the region’s football chairman Abdul Osman Turay.

PC Koblo Queen II provided his support with a cheque and has further pledged his commitment to transform Bai Bureh Warriors FC into one of the most distinguished clubs in the country, and the meeting climaxed with strategic planning.

Bai Bureh Warriors Football Club currently occupies the eighth position in the league log with two points out of two matches played and will host Central Parade in their third league match on Saturday, 24th December 2022.
