Sierra Leone’s Female National Team, Sierra Queens have been eliminated from  the ongoing WAFU competition in Cape Verde, after suffering a 1-0 defeat against Guinea today, Monday 23rd January 2023 in the ongoing WAFU competition in Cape Verde.

This is the second defeat the has suffered after after an initial 4-1 defeat against the Scorpion Queens of Gambia on Saturday, 21st January 2023.

 

Sierra Queens are now out of the 2023 WAFU Competition, with no hope of making it to the next round of the competition.

The team will play their final match in the group stage against Senegal on Wednesday 25th January 2023.

This is the second time Sierra Queens have surfaced in the competition.
