Sierra Leone’s Brand Global Football Ambassador, Antonio Rudiger has displayed the Sierra Leone’s National flag after Real Madrid won 2024 UEFA Champions League trophy on Saturday by defeating Borussia Dortmund 2 – 0 in the final.

Spanish defender Dani Carvajal and Brazilian attacker Vinicius Jr. scored for Real Madrid in the 74th and 83rd minutes, respectively, at Wembley Stadium.

The Standout in Real Madrid’s passage to the Champions League semi-finals is undoubtedly Antonio Rudiger , He scored the decisive penalty that brought down the reigning champions , but he did much more than that. Previously, on Friday 28 January 2022, President of Sierra Leone – Dr Julius Maada Bio pronounced Antonio Rüdiger as ‘Brand Global Sierra Leone Football Ambassador’ and handed him the country’s diplomatic passport, at a ceremony attended by family members, well-wishers and government officials held in State House, Freetown .
