Saidu Mansaray fondly called Malian, who is currently pursuing his football career with the Southern giant Bo Rangers Football Club in Bo City, a team he joined in the second leg of the 2021-2022 Premier League season in a big-money move from his home side Wusum Stars Football Club in Makeni.
Saidu Mansaray found the back of the net on his first goal for his new side Bo Rangers FC against Mighty Blackpool on April 30th 2022 in the ongoing Sierra Leone Premier League season in an emphatic 5-0 win and he did that in the twelve (12) outings, “I am happy to score my first goal for Bo Rangers as it’s on the dream we all are yearning for to win the league for the first time in the club history” Saidu disclosed to NewsFeed Sierra Leone.
As a left-back who can also be deployed at the centre back had previously registered once on the score sheet in the ongoing league season for his former side against FC Kallon as he was also named as the Man of the Match and had helped Wusum Stars win the Ernest Bai Koroma Trophy on three occasions and runners up on three occasions respectively. He was a key player during the Sierra Leone Football Association playoffs that sees Wusum Stars gain promotion to the Sierra Leone Premier League after nine (9) years of wait.
Saidu Mansaray broke the limelight to help the country’s national side, Leone Stars as he was a starter against Benin in Conakry a game that sent Sierra Leone to the African Cup of Nations after 25 years and made the cut of the squad that participated in the just-concluded AFCON 2021 in Cameroon albeit he made no appearance.
