The President of the Sierra Leone Football Association, Thomas Daddy Brima has updated the Public on Leone Stars three Friendly Matches in Turkey.
President Brima started by establishing the fact that after 25years of waiting, Sierra Leone was opportune to qualify for the AFCON 2021 in Cameroon.
Thanking the Government of Sierra Leone for their Support towards Leone Stars Participation in the African Cup of Nations. He further expresses appreciation to the People of Sierra Leone and the Leone Stars Players for their bravery and sacrifices.
President Brima confirmed that though the outcome of Leone Stars Performance in AFCON 2021 was not their ultimate expectation but the country was able to get good result against prominent football nations in Africa. However, he emphasized that as a country, Sierra Leone cannot afford to miss out in the 2023 African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.

He concluded by confirming that Sierra Leone will three friendly matches in Turkey as a build up to the 2023 AFCON qualifiers.
