The Sierra Leone Athletics Family mourns the loss of one of its golden generational athlete Susan Blaudfaust who passed on to the eternal glory . Her death is a monumental loss to stakeholders and the Athletics family.

Susan had distinguished herself in both nationally and globally. She represented Sierra Leone at the Commonwealth Games in the 100, 200, and 800 metres and was a great theatre performer.

Not only was she an inspiration to many, but she was also a great fighter. Susan was always there for her loved ones through thick and thin.

A very strong church member who believed in working hard and having a strong faith in God. Susan worked tirelessly for children and youths within her educational environment. She was a good senior youth worker for Barking and Dagenham Council Borough in the UK

Susan will be missed dearly, especially by those who knew her from her athletic days at the Government Model School and the Sierra Leone Prison Services.
