Following information making the rounds on social media about unpublished friendly matches of the national team in Dubai left many wondering whether the Sierra Leone Football Association has become a secret society.
confirming the rumours from personal social media posts of some players from their social media accounts justifies the above assertion about the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA).
Though the rationale behind shrouding the friendly matches in secrecy is not made to the public, the SLFA must take into consideration that the team is being sponsored by taxpayers’ money and the public deserves the right to know about the whereabouts of the team.

18hrs ago, Leone Stars forward Rodney Micheal posted on the Facebook story of his travelling to Dubai ahead of their undisclosed friendly matches.
Among the unveiled players for the match were Sierra Leone sensational twins Alhassan and Alusine and Jay Tee who update the public on Social media as they depart Spain for Dubai.
The said undisclosed friendlies are scheduled to take place with Rwanda and Algeria on the 16th and 18th respectively.
This action of the SLFA President Thomas Daddy Brima has sparked reactions from Sierra Leoneans who are questioning if the change he promised to bring in Sierra Leone Football is turning the body into a secret society.
This among other things has sparked flames of controversies in the minds of Sierra Leoneans who are doubting the true motive of the Football Association.
Many football fanatics have also urged the President, Thomas Daddy Brima to do the needful and the government of Sierra Leone to invest more in female football as they seem to be producing more results than the male side.
