The just concluded Sierra Leone Premier League has been a huge success in the sporting sector in Sierra Leone. The League has contributed to help Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) to scout young talents in the country to represent the national team in Africa football tournaments. Ahead of the 2022/2023 Premier League season, fans, supporters, Premier League clubs etc. are anticipated to see the league starts in no time. 

With regards to this, the secretary to the Sierra Leone Premier League Board in collaboration with the entire body, the Sierra Leone Premier League Board would like to inform Premier League Clubs that player registration for the 2022/2023 league season will start on the 7th September 2022 and ends on the 6th October, instant; from 9am to 5pm-Monday to Friday, at the Sierra Leone Premier League Board’s secretariat, Sierra Leone Football Academy, Kingtom, Freetown.

The secretary to the board continued that, transfer window for the 2022/2023 League season is now open and will close on the 6th October, 2022. In this regard, Premier League clubs are open to do negotiations and transfer to be done until the closing date.

Mr. Sampha Hassan Kamara furthered that, in addition after the closing period of registration, the Board will be publishing the list of registered players submitted by the clubs, and a two-week period will be given to make corrections, confirmations and protests in other to settle any issue or concerns of players registration before the commencement of the league.
