Sierra Leone’s Ambassador to Morocco His Excellency Atumanni Dainkeh, accompanied by the Deputy Minister of Finance 2- Bockarie Kalokoh, has this morning visited Leone Stars’ Camp at the Kenzi Farah Hotel in Marrakech to officially welcome the Sierra Leone delegation to the Kingdom of Morocco.
SLFA President Thomas Daddy Brima who doubles as the leader of delegation gracefully received the Ambassador and his team as they all had a sumptuous breakfast together.
In a brief statement to the players, Amb. Dainkeh expressed great delight playing host to “a group of young Sierra Leoneans who are out here in a quest to fly our country’s flag up high”.
He added that, “This is an opportunity to do well for Sierra Leone and for yourselves. You have the chance now, more than ever, to shine and earn a professional career, which I believe is every home-based player’s wish”.
In response, the SLFA General Secretary Christopher Kamara thanked the Ambassador and his entire delegation for visiting the team.
“Your presence here this morning is very inspiring not just to these young players but to the rest of the delegation and I believe it will go a long way in helping the team to do well in our up coming matches”. Kamara said.
