The Sierra Queens has secured another impressive victory against Liberia in the Women’s Day Cup in Kenema.
Edwardline Jackson secured a brace for the Liberians in the 37th and and 66th minutes, but the girls suffered 3-2 defeat from the host, Sierra Queens.
The FC Kallon Forward, Kumba Z. Brima got the opener in the 34th Minute followed by Jariatu Kamara in the 57. Brima Sealed the winnner for Sierra Queens in the 94th minutes.
Both Liberia’s U-17 and U-20 women’s national teams were invited by the Sierra Leone Football Association to participate in an international women’s football tournament that is taking place in Kenema City from 1-8 March, 2024.

The tournament is being held in observance of the 2024 International Women’s Day celebration.
