The Sierra Leone national senior team, Sierra Queens, has emerged the champions of the Women’s Day Cup following a fantastic win against Liberia U20 with a score of 2-0 in the final match, with an impressive 9 points from four games.

The Sierra Leone National U17 team in their final match against Liberia in the Women’s Day Cup ended in a 1-1 draw, but Sierra Leone’s 8 points were enough to clinch the trophy! Congratulations.

Coinciding with International Women’s Day on March 8th, the tournament will also feature the U-17 and U-20 women’s national teams of Sierra Leone. This initiative serves as a strong representation of both countries uniting with the global community to advocate for gender equality and women’s.
