The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), through its Technical Department, has announced the commencement of CAF Coaching Diploma Refresher Courses for 2026.
According to a press release issued on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, the refresher courses are intended for holders of CAF A, B, and C coaching diplomas, as part of ongoing efforts to maintain high coaching standards and align local coaches with modern football trends and methodologies.
The SLFA said the courses will focus on updating participants on contemporary tactics, techniques, and player development approaches.
“Successful participants will receive an SLFA Coaching License valid for three (3) years in line with the CAF Coaching Convention,” the association stated.
The SLFA further invited interested applicants to collect application forms from the Technical Department at the SLFA Secretariat between Tuesday, January 6, and Tuesday, January 13, 2026.
Regarding the schedule and fees, the association disclosed that the CAF A and B refresher courses will be held from January 19 to 21, 2026, with fees set at Le 3,000 for CAF A and Le 2,000 for CAF B. The CAF C refresher course will take place from January 26 to 28, 2026, at a fee of Le 1,000.
