The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has announced plans to host a CAF C Diploma Coaching Course in Freetown, scheduled to commence on Thursday, 19th February 2026.

According to a press release issued on Thursday, 5th February 2026, the course forms part of SLFA’s ongoing efforts to strengthen grassroots football development and enhance the technical capacity of coaches across the country.

The association disclosed that the course fee is Le 4,000 per participant, payable into the Sierra Leone Football Association Revenue Account at the Sierra Leone Commercial Bank Limited.

Interested applicants are required to meet specific eligibility criteria, including possession of a CAF D Diploma, being at least 18 years old, and having actively engaged in coaching within the last two years. Applicants must also possess basic computer skills and be able to read and write.

SLFA further informed that all interested and eligible candidates are to register in person at the SLFA Secretariat in Freetown from now until Tuesday, 10th February 2026, between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.The association reaffirmed its commitment to developing football at all levels, noting that the coaching course will contribute significantly to improving standards and professionalism within the local game.
