To ensure inclusiveness in the country’s representation, the Sierra Leone Football Association has in a letter dated 3rd January, 2022 requested all Sierra Leone Premier League clubs to each nominate a representative for the upcoming TotalEnergies AFCON 2021 in Cameroon next week.

SLFA will cover; air ticket, full board in a decent hotel, Leone Stars match tickets and COVID- 19 test charges in Cameroon for appointees from all 18 Premier League clubs.

Nominations are expected to be submitted to the SLFA Secretariat no later than Tuesday January 4, 2022.

The Football Association has also recently appoints former Leone Stars Captain Mohamed Kallon as Leone Stars Ambassador in Cameroon

Leone Stars is grouped with Algeria Cote D’ Ivoire and Equatorial Guinea. Leone Stars will play their opening match against Algeria on the 11th January 2022
