The Executive Council has decided to proceed with the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) Congress despite the absence of the President, Thomas Daddy Brima.

The Ordinary Congress was halted few hours after it commenced on Saturday at the Radisson Blu Hotel with Brima’s Personal Assistant (PA), David Turner attacked thereby suffering from some facial injuries.

The Ordinary Congress will see the election of the next President of the FA. Brima is contesting against Babadi Kamara, Chairman of Bo Rangers Football Club.

Sources at the venue informed us that some members of the two camps engaged in a serious brawl leading to a temporary halt to the session at the Radisson Blu Hotel.
