SLFA President Thomas Daddy Brima together with VP1 Nat Johnson and VP2 Tarawallie have received the remains of Lamin Conteh[Junior Tumbu] at the Connaught Mortuary in Freetown where it will be preserved as the fedration prepares for a respectful burial.

The former Leone  Stars Captain Passed away in Kenema city, after a brief illness.

In a letter addressed to the SLFA president Thomas Daddy Brima. President Infantino described the former Sierra Leone national captain as ”one of the greatest Leone stars Players, his personality and his  human qualities will not be forgotten, and he will be truly missed.”

The letter further states,” On behalf of the International football community, I wish to extend our deepest condolences to the  Sierra Leone Football Association and most importantly to Lamin’s, Family and loved ones.
