The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has dismissed the entire technical staff of the Sierra Leone national football team with immediate effect.
The sweeping decision, confirmed through credible sources, comes in the wake of underwhelming performances and growing pressure to revitalize the team ahead of upcoming international fixtures.
While the SLFA has yet to release an official statement explaining the rationale behind the move, speculation is rife that the organization is determined to overhaul the team’s structure to improve results on the field.
Sources close to the SLFA indicate that the announcement of interim coaches is imminent. Leading the race for these caretaker roles are former international star Mohamed Kallon, ex-England defender Paul Parker, and John Keister, who has prior experience managing the national team.
The potential involvement of Kallon, a household name in Sierra Leonean football, is expected to generate significant public interest. Parker and Keister also bring strong credentials to the table, adding intrigue to the SLFA’s forthcoming decision.
I am really happy with the decision taken by SLAFA to overhaul the entire technical staff and coach by appointing caretakers to run the affairs of football in the country. The people you have appointed I believe are credible enough to reshape our national team and bring laurels for Sierra Leone. I thank you so much.
My brother Sierra Leone Even if we sign Jose Mourinho as head coach the problem will still be the same because the players are never serious about national duties you can see playing very well in their clubs but when it comes to playing for their motherland you see them lacking
Sierra Leone we have good potentials but they are not serious
Anyway I wish the future coach good luck maybe he will be able to take us somewhere
