The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has officially appointed Mr. Umaru Bah as the new Team Manager of the Leone Stars, the country’s senior national football team.
The decision was made by the SLFA Executive Committee, recognizing Mr. Bah’s extensive experience and success in football management.
Mr. Bah, who currently serves as the CEO of Real Republicans Football Club, has a distinguished career in the sport, notably as the former Team Manager for the Sierra Leone National Home-Based Team. His leadership and strategic acumen were key factors in the team’s achievements, earning him respect within the football community.
The SLFA announced that Mr. Bah will take up his new role immediately following Leone Stars’ crucial AFCON Qualifiers against Chad on September 6th and Zambia on September 10th. The association expressed confidence that his expertise will play a significant role in driving the national team towards greater heights, both in Africa and globally.
