Former Sierra Leonean international footballer, Steven Caulker, is gearing up to embark on his next chapter in the world of football as he prepares to start his Uefa A badge in June 2024.
Caulker, who represented Sierra Leone in the 2021 AfCON in Cameroon and later served as captain, expressed his excitement for this new endeavor in a post on his official Facebook page
“I can’t wait to get started with this next month! “Another opportunity to further develop my coaching skills and learn from some of the best teachers in the game,”
With stints at clubs like Tottenham, Liverpool, Cardiff, and Queens Park Rangers, Caulker brings a wealth of experience to his coaching journey.
Notably, he had a loan spell at Liverpool where he played as a striker under Jurgen Klopp before joining Dundee. Caulker’s football career has also taken him to Turkey, where he played for several Super Lig clubs, including Alanyaspor and Fenerbahce.
With one cap and a goal for England, Caulker’s journey from the pitch to the coaching realm showcases his ongoing dedication to the sport. Additionally, his representation of TeamGB at the London Olympics in 2012 highlights his international pedigree and commitment to football excellence.
