Captain of the Sierra Leone National Team, Steven Caulker, 31, has penned a new deal for English Championship side, Wigan Athletic until the end of the season.
“We are delighted to confirm the signing of Steven Caulker on a deal until the end of the 2022/23 campaign,” said the club.
Caulker has been without a club after playing for several clubs in the Turkish Super Lig with his last being Istanbul outfit, Fatih Karagumruk SK.
The centre back who started his senior career at Tottenham Hotspur in 2009 will be making a return to English football since last playing for Liverpool in 2016.
