Wusum Stars FC secured a dramatic comeback victory against Lamboi FC at the Makeni Playing Field on Sunday 28th, April 2024.

The home side found themselves trailing by a goal at halftime but emerged stronger in the second half to snatch all three points.

Lamboi FC drew first blood, putting Wusum Stars on the back foot in the first half. However, the Northern Rock side emerged with renewed determination after the break. Shamah Kamara provided the spark with a stunning strike that brought Wusum Stars back on level terms.

With the momentum firmly in their grasp, Wusum Stars pressed for the winner. Their efforts were rewarded when Paul Jackson Kamara slotted home to give the home side a well-deserved 2-1 victory.

This win marks Wusum Stars’ third consecutive victory in the Leone Rock Premier League, solidifying their position in the upper echelons of the table.
