The ACC’s Assets Declaration and IT teams participated in a hands-on training by DSTI on a new Digital Asset Declaration Platform, a game-changer in boosting transparency, accountability, and compliance in public service. On 16th July 2025.

Deputy Commissioner Augustine Foday Ngobie praised the collaboration, calling it a major step in integrating tech into the Commission’s operations.

Director Edita Fofana reaffirmed ACC’s commitment to leveraging digital tools for good governance.

DSTI’s Tigidankay Bah led the training, walking participants through the platform’s features, from declarant registration to submission.

Constructive feedback was shared to fine-tune the platform ahead of its public launch.

The Sierra Leone Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) requires public officials to declare their assets, income, and liabilities to promote transparency and accountability.

This policy, outlined in the Anti-Corruption Act 2008 (as amended), aims to prevent corruption and illicit enrichment by requiring declarations upon appointment, periodically while in office, and upon leaving public service. The ACC has transitioned to a mandatory online system for asset declaration, streamlining the process and enhancing accessibility.
