Popular Sierra Leonean footballer Musa Noah Kamara, widely known as Musa Tombo, has reportedly gone missing once again after failing to board a flight bound for Tunisia, where he is expected to join his new club, Club Sportif Sfaxien (CSS).

Concerns about his whereabouts grew on social media following the circulation of a screenshot believed to be from his WhatsApp status, in which Musa called on Sierra Leonean Muslims and Christians to pray for him. He claimed to have experienced “spiritual attacks” early yesterday morning.

“At this moment, Musa is untraceable and missing,” a source close to the player confirmed.

Earlier today, a message alleged to be from his partner surfaced online. In the message, she apologizes to Club Sportif Sfaxien on his behalf, explaining that he had recently lost his father and is emotionally overwhelmed.

“As the wife of player Moussa Kamara, I apologize to Club Sportif Sfaxien for his absence. Moussa couldn’t travel because his father passed away recently, and he is in deep emotional pain. We promise he will join the club in Tunisia within a week. He is very happy and excited to be part of CSS,” the message reads.

Musa Tombo had recently signed a contract with the Tunisian side and was expected to travel this week to begin a new chapter in his professional career. However, this latest incident has left many Sierra Leoneans both concerned and confused, particularly as it marks the third time the footballer has gone missing or failed to travel abroad after signing a foreign deal.

This recurring pattern has drawn mixed reactions from fans and football observers alike, with some citing possible mental health or spiritual challenges, while others call for professional intervention to support the talented but controversial striker.

Club Sportif Sfaxien has not yet issued an official statement regarding his absence. Meanwhile, the football community in Sierra Leone continues to hope for Musa’s safety and a positive resolution.
