Leone Rock Metal Group (LRMG) has launched a powerful initiative aimed at providing much-needed educational resources to schools in Tonkolili (TDC primary school) and Bombali (Gbassia community primary school) districts of Sierra Leone.
The company’s mission is clear: to support the education of young people in Sierra Leone by providing them with the necessary tools to succeed in their studies.
Through this initiative, LRMG is helping students in rural and underserved areas access essential learning materials that many would otherwise go without.

In an effort to improve the learning environment, the company distributed a variety of school supplies, including: school bags, cartoon books and mathematical sets
LRMG’s initiative addresses educational constraints by ensuring that students in these communities receive the tools they need to engage with their education in meaningful ways.
The impact of the company’s donation has been felt deeply by the students and educators in both districts. For many of the children, receiving these supplies is not just a material gift but a symbol of hope and encouragement for their future.

“We are very grateful to Leone Rock Metal Group for their generosity,” said one of the local teachers. “These supplies will make a huge difference in our classrooms and motivate the students to do their best.
Leone Rock Metal Group has expressed its intention to continue supporting educational projects in Sierra Leone, with plans to expand the “Back to School” initiative to more regions in the coming years.
“This is just the beginning,” said LRMG’s P.R officer. “We plan to work closely with local communities, schools, and educational organizations to ensure that every child has a fair chance at success.”
Leone Rock Metal Group’s “Back to School” initiative is a powerful example of how companies can use their influence for social good. By providing essential school supplies to students in Tonkolili and Bombali, the company is not only supporting the education of these young people but also inspiring others to contribute to the development of their communities.
