The Sierra Leone Parliament has approved 11 presidential Nominees for key development roles. The approvals were made on Friday, December 19.

The Fifth Report of the Committee on Appointments and the Public Service, chaired by the Leader of Government Business, Hon. Mathew Sahr Nyuma, debated and approved the 11 presidential nominees.

The House cleared following individuals, including John Gbondo serving as the Board Chairman Sierra Leone Road Authority, Mrs. Neneh Dabo, as the Chairman Board of Directors National Public Procurement Authority, and Ms. Christabel Adama Esq, as the Deputy Director General Financial Intelligence Agency.

Other approved members included Dr. Francis Mustapha Kaikai serving as a Member Board of Directors Bank of Sierra Leone, Dr. Amadu Barrie, a Member Board of Directors Sierra Leone Road Authority ( SLRA), and Prince A. Macarthy, a Member Board of Directors Road Maintenance Fund Administration.

Additionally, Mrs. Marie Kpakanya Mansaray, Mohamed M Wonde Allieu and Ibrahim Sam were approved as Member Board of Directors of Road Maintenance Fund Administration, Member Board of Directors of Produce Monitoring Board, and Member Sierra Leone Road Authority Board.

Tower Hill also approved, Mr. Mohamed Sallu as Member Board of Directors Political Parties Registration Commission, and Nellista Lady Jane Stack Davis, Member Board of Directors Sierra Leone Electricity and Water Regulation Commission.

The approved members are expected to start work as soon as possible.
