The Association of Music Producers & Engineers – Sierra Leone (AMPE-SL) has announced the successful conclusion of mediation proceedings relating to a dispute involving Producer LWhyte, Sweeta Boi, and Legacy Boy.
In an official public statement issued on March 13, 2026, the Association confirmed that the mediation session was held at Paradise Garden and lasted for a full day, during which the parties engaged in extensive discussions aimed at resolving the matter.
According to the statement, the mediation committee was headed by Joseph S. Koroma, widely known as Nashito Kulala. The process also received professional legal guidance from the Association’s legal adviser, Barrister and Solicitor Achatoh Derrek A. Esq., who supported the proceedings throughout the discussions.
AMPE-SL noted that after carefully reviewing the issues and modalities presented by the parties involved, the Association has established its findings on the matter. The body further disclosed that it will soon present its recommendations and outline the way forward.
The Association expressed satisfaction with the outcome of the mediation, stating that the proceedings ended amicably and that all differences were addressed in good faith.
AMPE-SL reaffirmed its commitment to promoting professionalism, fairness, and unity within Sierra Leone’s music industry, emphasizing the importance of dialogue and structured mediation in resolving disputes among industry stakeholders.
