The Ministry of Technical and Higher Education (MTHE) has concluded a two-day Leadership and Management Training designed to strengthen leadership skills and improve public service delivery among ministry staff.

Held at the Civil Service Training College, the program brought together participants for an intensive focus on practical leadership applications. While certificates were awarded, facilitators emphasized that the true measure of success lies in applying the lessons learned.

Senior Human Resource Officer Aruna William Saha opened the second day with a recap of key lessons, while HR Director Rebecca Saffa encouraged staff to remain fully engaged and finish the program strongly.

Sessions led by Chernor I. Mansaray of the Human Resource Management Office focused on addressing real workplace performance gaps, with participants openly discussing challenges and exploring practical, day-to-day solutions.

A joint session featuring Dr. Mohamed Taylor, Rev. Dr. Olivia Wesley, and Permanent Secretary Mohamed Sheick Kargbo tasked participants with developing actionable plans, ensuring that strategies were concrete and implementable. A post-training assessment further gauged how effectively lessons had been absorbed.

Closing the program, Dr. Emmanuel Lavalie reminded participants that the impact of the training will ultimately be measured not by attendance or certificates, but by improved performance and service delivery across the Ministry.

With the program officially concluded, participants are now expected to translate their learning into real-world results in their respective offices.
