The Kailahun Police Division, led by the Local Unit Commander (LUC), Superintendent Thaimu B. Sesay, has conducted a community engagement and sensitisation campaign in Luawa Baoma Town as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen community policing and enhance public safety.

And the discussions also centred on the roles and responsibilities of community members in promoting peace, vigilance, and security within the locality. The initiative reinforced the principle of community-led policing as a shared responsibility between citizens and security agencies.

In response, community leaders expressed appreciation for the police’s proactive efforts and commended their commitment to safeguarding lives and property. They pledged their continued support and cooperation in addressing security challenges.

Finally, the engagement concluded on a positive note, with a vote of thanks delivered by a community representative, reaffirming the mutual commitment to sustaining the partnership between the Kailahun Police Division and the people of Luawa Baoma.
