Sierra Leone international defender Abdulai Juma Bah has arrived in camp and linked up with his Leone Stars teammates in Bo ahead of the country’s international friendly matches against Liberia’s Lone Star.
Bah, who is contracted to Manchester City and currently on loan at OGC Nice in France, is expected to bolster the national team’s defensive options as preparations intensify for the two-match series.
The highly-rated defender joined the squad on Saturday and is ready to represent the nation, according to team officials.

Leone Stars are currently in Bo ahead of the first leg of the friendly series, scheduled for Saturday at the Southern Arena. The match will be played under the guidance of newly appointed caretaker head coach John Edward Keister, who is leading the team while the Sierra Leone Football Association’s newly appointed substantive head coach, French international Didier Gomes Da Rosa, continues to settle into his role.
The team arrived in Bo on Friday, June 5, to a historic and enthusiastic welcome, with hundreds of football supporters lining major streets to celebrate the squad’s arrival ahead of the match.
Following Saturday’s encounter in Bo, the team will travel to Monrovia for the return fixture at the Samuel Kanyon Doe (SKD) Stadium on Tuesday, June 9.
The two-match series, which falls within the June FIFA international window, is designed to test strategies and assess squad depth as the team builds toward future competitions, including the TotalEnergies AFCON 2027 qualifiers.
