Samuel Takie Kargbo, a former economics student of Fourah Bay College (FBC), is currently receiving medical care at the Kissy Psychiatric Hospital following public attention over his condition.

His situation came into the spotlight after a video surfaced on social media in which he recounted how an alleged family dispute over property, including a house and land, contributed to the challenges he is currently facing.

According to information gathered, the dispute reportedly disrupted his academic pursuit at the University of Sierra Leone and left him without adequate family support, a situation that is said to have contributed to his current condition.

Medical sources indicate that he is responding to treatment and showing signs of gradual improvement.

His case has drawn public interest and renewed discussions around the impact of family disputes and mental health challenges on young people.
