Babadi Kamara Highlights SLFA Revenue Initiatives at FIFA Meeting
Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) President Babadi Kamara has highlighted the Association’s efforts to create new revenue opportunities for football during an online meeting of the FIFA Commercial and Marketing Committee.
Appointed to the committee in October 2025, two months after assuming office as SLFA President, Kamara joined discussions on strengthening the financial capacity of national football associations. He shared SLFA projects aimed at generating revenue and supporting football development, as well as the benefits of
FIFA Connect, including fixture generation and the digitalisation of player registration.
The committee advises FIFA on commercial partnerships, event operations, and revenue-growth strategies. Discussions also examined additional commercial approaches national associations can adopt to increase revenue and contribute to football development.
