Hassan Arouni, a renowned Sierra Leonean journalist at BBC, has bid an emotional farewell to his former Nigerian colleague, Bola Mosuro, following her resignation.

Arouni took to his Facebook page to express his feelings and gratitude towards Mosuro, who had been his protector, confidante, and counsellor during their 30-year stint at BBC.

He wished Mosuro all the best in her future endeavors, while also acknowledging that he would be leaving BBC soon as well. He thanked and blessed her and his followers, and prayed that God would direct their journeys.

His post reads as follows:

“My Sister and friend, Bola Mosuro, has been my protector, confidante, and counsellor at the BBC for 30 years now. She left the BBC this week. I wish her all the best and better things. I will also leave the BBC as well any day now. I thank and bless her. I thank you all too for allowing me time to talk to you. May God direct the rest of our journeys. Amen! “

Mosuro, a Nigerian journalist based in England, recently resigned after working with BBC for over three decades. As a radio broadcaster at BBC News, she was one of the main presenters of Newsday on the BBC World Service, producing and presenting African news and current affairs programs.
