The Head of Chancery and Minister Counsellor, Edward Kawa has delivered the Government of Sierra Leone’s statement at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) General Assembly.

WIPO is one of the agencies of the United Nations which works for intellectual property and promote innovation and creativity for the benefit of all.

Kawa highlighted the IP as a transformative tool that helps rebuild our socio-economic infrastructures.

He called on WIPO to provide support mechanisms that facilitate technology transfer and capacity building.
