A Sierra Leonean Lady, Memunatu Kanara is Calling on the public for financial support to settle her medical bills in India.

Mumunatu who is said to have recently graduated from the University of Makeni (UNIMAK) with a BSc in Public Health has been diagnosed with Leukemia that warrants immediate medical attention overseas as such cannot be treated in Sierra Leone.

According to information from the family of Memunatu, they contacted New Delhi in India and were asked to pay twenty-eight thousand dollars ($28,000) which will include treatment, travel, and hotel expenses for her and her escort.

The family has raised about nine thousand dollars ($9,000) and has facilitated the movement of Memunatu and her sister to New Delhi India.

The Doctor in India after reviewing the test results has ordered for the patient to be immediately admitted and requested for Thirteen Thousand Dollars ($13,000) as admission and treatment fees for two weeks.

It is on that grounds the family is calling on the public and humanitarians to assist them in saving the life of their daughter as they cannot raise such amount of money this moment.
